First Days Back

So my first days back weren't bad. I like most of my newly arranged classes. By the way, sorry this is out so late! It took way longer to write than expected.

First I had English which I loved. I hated my old English class so I'm glad there are some pretty cool people in my new one. In English I also LOVE my teacher. She is so nice and loves what she does. I think she goes above and beyond to teach us different poems and stories. Another thing I love about her is how traditional her teaching style is. She sits at the front of the room and talks about the story in a very straightforward manner.

Next I have algebra. Algebra is not as good this semester but it isn't the worst. I have two very obnoxious and rude kids in there which makes it harder for me to learn. They are just so disrespectful to the teacher and that's annoying. I do have two really nice people to talk to in that class though, and they both care about understanding the subject so that makes classwork easier.

Then I have tech period. LOL ok tech period is basically a study hall. However, if a teacher emails the tech office that there is a computer problem, I (or another tech) go fix it. I preferred my old tech period because it was at the end of the day. This one is nice to though because one of my friends from last semester's tech period transferred into this class! What are the odds? She isn't even a tech, she's an office aid so I really am counting my blessings on this one. As far as other techs go though, I don't really like any of them in this period. They are nice, don't get me wrong, but I'm not really friends with either of them. Plus, there are two teachers that lead the technology department. They are both nice as well, but the newly hired guy assigns me the worst tasks ever! Ok he was worried about the backgrounds on some students computers, so he made me go out into the library and ask people to minimize their screens so I could see the background! Oh my God that's so embarrassing! Another time he made me take around six trips across the school just to fix an ink problem. Our school is really big so this took about an hour.

Finally, at the end of A day I have chemistry. This is really the worst class as far as complaints go. I still love my teacher, but basically the entire class has changed. Fortunately for me, I do have a very good friend in there to talk to. BUT there are some very disruptive and rude students, one girl in particular. I CAN'T STAND HER. She is so annoying. She also has a reputation for being a vicious gossiper. I can confirm this actually because I used to talk to her a lot. This girl has watched Mean Girls one too many times and tries her very best to act like Regina George. She's also very unattractive: short, overweight, ALWAYS FREAKISHLY TAN, and wears way too much makeup. She also drinks, has done tons of drugs, and is not a virgin. Just to top things off, she is proud of all of this and she tells people of her crazy nights and sexcapades often.

Now, starting with the B days. For me, B days are much worse than A days just because of the number of classes I hate.

First class on B day is theology. I just hate this class because it is so boring. To be honest, I preferred the people in last semester's class. I still have plenty of people to talk to though so that's good. There is this one guy in here though who is really irritating, and very full of himself. I can't stand people like that! He doesn't have very much going for him either. Short, unattractive, dimwitted. The only reason people like him is because of his overconfident personality.

Next is SAT Prep, a new one this semester. I ALREADY KNOW I'M GOING TO HATE THIS CLASS. One of my least favorite things in the world is taking standardized tests. The people in it aren't an issue (although there are plenty of them I don't like). It's just going to be so much work! The lady running it gets on my nerves just by talking. She doesn't like people sitting in the back BUT the class is way too full so seats are taken quickly. I've been in the back before and she moved me to the front, away from my friends!

Third is personal conditioning. I hate this class so much. I had it last semester, and it wasn't so bad just because I had two of my favorite people in it. BUT THIS SEMESTER IS ANOTHER STORY. I don't really have anyone to talk to except one guy who we used to be friends but now we're more distant because... well let's just say we chose different paths. Luckily though, there are SO many people in this class that I can pretty much get away with anything. I haven't done any exercise yet and I don't plan to. Also there is this really annoying kid in there who, for some reason, is allowed to just walk around and tell people what they're doing wrong. Sometimes he even reports them to the coach and gets them in trouble. He doesn't report me though because I've accidentally been rude to him on more then one occasion. EVERYONE hates him (I don't think he even knows), but he deserves it.

Finally is History. I like this history class better; even though I miss two people from last semester's class. The teacher is good and funny. This is one of the few classes that is just a class. I don't hate it, I don't love it.

Alright... Well, that's my schedule! Interesting, right? Basically, school is just the same as it always was. Oh, but with one important exception! The person I like is noticing me again. We had a sort of falling out before Christmas break. Honestly, I thought it was over and it felt relaxing. I've worried about this so much in the past I wasn't even sad. It's so strange how fast all the feelings can come back though. Of course, with all the good feelings come the bad ones. Jealousy in particular. "I wasn't jealous before we met, now every man that I see is a potential threat."

Finally I'll close with answering the immediate question: "Why don't you name names?" Trust me, I'm not doing it because I'm a nice person. I'm doing it just in case someone one day was to randomly stumble over this blog that I went to school with. After graduation, I'll name names all day. But until then, I gotta keep my mouth shut.

True Beauty

OMG! Who watched Monday's premiere episode of True Beauty on ABC? Ok well the whole premise of the show is that these beautiful people compete in beauty contests to find the most beautiful. BUT, the twist is that they are unaware they are also being watched and judged on their inner beauty. Every week the bottom two contestants in the beauty contest are sent to the Hall of Beauty. Once there, one is eliminated and the twist of the show is revealed. And what's worse, they are forced to watch all the terrible things they did while on the show. After they are sent home, their picture is taken down from the wall of the Hall of Beauty and is thrown in a dumpster (I loved that twist!). The show itself was very good, except the judges.

Here are the contestants and my thoughts on them:

Ashley: When Ashley got out of the car at the beginning of the show, she talked about how she enjoys wearing expensive business clothes. I remember she said something like she brought $30,000 worth of clothes to the show. They really didn't focus on Ashley very much so as of right now it's hard to say much about her. I don't hate her, but I don't like her very much.

Billy: Ok, Billy is this really rude cocky guy. I believe he is the oldest contestant at 31. Billy is also a Chip and Dale Dancer. I don't care for Billy and I don't expect him to last very long.

Chelsea: From the beginning, I can tell that Chelsea is going to be this season's villain. Chelsea is a vicious little girl that is SO full of herself. I really can't stand this contestant. Unfortunately, it is going to be awhile before she gets kicked off as her existence is for ratings alone.

CJ: CJ is a little cocky, but he is smart and polite to others. I like CJ, but his personality on the show is a bit dry. He probably won't win. Honestly, I don't have much to say about this guy. He's just boring.

Hadiyyah-lah: As my least favorite contestant, I wasn't surprised when she was the first one voted off. In the challenge, Hadiyyah-lah was declared most ugly and she went crazy! Ugghh I really hated her and I'm glad her picture was the first thrown into the trash. Bye Bye!

Joel: I don't like Joel! He is nice sometimes, but he is really mean other times. Even though I don't like Chelsea, he flat out told her that he didn't like her. I thought that was SO rude. Oh, and I think he started the conversation about High School and he said he thinks he was the most attractive guy in his high school! HOW OUTRAGEOUSLY RUDE to say that!

Julia: I like Julia. I'm pretty sure she is the one from Fort Worth, so a local girl. That's always nice. They didn't focus much on her, but she seems nice enough. Chances are that she won't win, but she'll probably get close. That is, if she doesn't fail a major challenge.

Laura: Laura, I like Laura, I think. But then again, she's like CJ in that she just doesn't stand out. But I have to say that her bio shot for this show would make you think differently.

Monique: My favorite! Monique is soft spoken and nice! She is not full of herself and I bet she'll get close to winning. Also, I think Monique is the most beautiful contestant on the show.

Ray: Ray isn't the worst guy, but he isn't the nicest either. I think he is pretty rude at times, but he handled the first challenge well. I don't really remember what his beauty score was, but I remember he took it well so that makes me respect him.

Ugghh School Tomorrow...

I have school tomorrow and I really don't want to go back. I love not having to worry about the drama or the work. For me, school is like a giant torture chamber. I really hate being there. Plus, tomorrow I think that I have P.E. where I will meet my new class. I'm really not looking forward to that because I had two good friends in my last class, but they are not going to be in this semester's class. That means two things: First, I'll have to find some new people to talk to. And that I'll probably have to actually work out because in the old class we would go outside and hide from the teacher to avoid exercise. I can run a mile in under eight minutes easy and I'm not fat so I shouldn't have to take P.E.

Also tomorrow everyone gets a new schedule. I really liked my old schedule and the chances of me liking my new schedule better are slim. I just hope I get classes with good people, and not rude people.

My goals for this semester are to stay out of the gossip, and just wait it out till summer break. I'M JUST SO TIRED OF HIGH SCHOOL! Three years should be enough!

Have you ever thought of something funny at an inconvenient time, and then had to think of something sad to block the funny thought? Well, my "block" is "First day of school. First day of school. First day of school." It works every time!

Minication

Today I had to head to to Stephenville, Texas. It was my old babysitter's wedding at Tarleton State University. It really was a beautiful ceremony and I really enjoyed being there seeing them so happy. In fact, everyone there was really happy to be there and it was a really good atmosphere. Normally, I'm in such a vicious atmosphere (private school) everyday. But it was so great to see two beautiful people in love.

We came to Stephenville with my sister's best friend and her mom, who also know the bride. They are such nice people and it has been a really fun experience all around. Stephenville is such a small town, so we had to stay in a Hampton (which is the best hotel there). It's ok though because my mom booked a suite so it's a bit better. Right now we are in that suite with my sister's friend and her mom, eating snacks, and watching 27 Dresses. I'm going to go and finish watching the movie, bye!

Tragic News

Well I was looking for some links to post to make a sorry excuse for an entry, and I found something important to write about.

Tragically, John Travolta's 16y/o son was recently found dead while he was on vacation. Apparently, Jett Travolta was on vacation when he hit his head on a bathtub. Jett has has a history of seizures, and it is assumed this accident is because of one.

I can't imagine the grief John, his wife, and their little girl now feel about this tragedy. It really pains me to hear about such a tragedy, so close to the Christmas Holiday. Not a very good way to start of 2009.

Let's keep Jett, and the Travolta family in our prayers.

Selena Gomez <3

I used to really hate that girl. From what I've seen (I don't have cable) she plays such a snobby selfish skank on that Wizards of Waverley Place. But recently Selena posted this video on her YouTube channel:

I guess it wasn't fair of me to assume she was really like the character she played on the show. In real life, she seems like a really good person who cares about her family.

Ok so here is a little belief quiz:

What do YOU believe in?

1. Miracles: Yea they happen. I just don\'t know why.

2. Angels: I don\'t know. The more and more I live, the less I can accept the idea of a God. The world isn\'t fair, but why? Why can I live a happy life, while someone else struggles to stay alive? Why is there so much death? Are humans naturally good or evil?

3. Magic: Yea, but not in the Harry Potter sense. A trip to Disney World with family and friends is magic enough for me.

4. Ghosts: Yes those are probably real too. I was watching Montel and they have that psychic on there and she is pretty convincing.

5. Birth: If this is talking about abortion, I\'m pro choice.

6. Easter Bunny: No.

7. Cupid: No...

8. Sex before marriage: That\'s another one that\'s hard to say. It\'s easy to condem those who do it, but if I was in the situation I don\'t know how I would act.

9. The death penalty: That\'s a tricky one. See I don\'t want the government killing innocent people, but if someone was to kill my family or friends I don\'t know how I would feel.

10. Davey Jones: No...

11. Best friends: Best friends are good, even if they stab you in the back once in a while. There is no such thing as \"the perfect friend.\"

12. People really have OCD: OCD is real! Trust me, when I was little I would wash my hands until they bled, literally! I wasn\'t even afraid of germs.

13. Everyone lies at least once in their life: Oh yea definitley true. Who hasn\'t lied?

14. Ying and Yang: Yes. There is definitley a bit of good in evil and a bit of evil in good.

15. Love at first sight: If it\'s real it would probably be unrequited love.

Happy New Year!

Happy New Year everyone!

Ok, so who watched that ABC New Year special with Kelly Pickler and Ryan Seacrest? I love Kelly Pickler; she's so funny and cute. It was kind of ironic that Ryan and Kelly were both hosting because they did/do American Idol. But am I wrong or was Taylor Swift and The Jonas Brothers supposed to host? As we all know that would be pretty tough because of Joe's outrageously rude breakup with Taylor. I think Ryan and Kelly were probably just emergency hosts they found last minute. But then at the end of the show Taylor, Demi Lavato, and the Jonas Brothers were all up on stage together. You could tell Taylor was in serious pain as she kept looking at Joe. BUT JOE WAS UP THERE JUMPING AROUND AND SMILING. I don't know what his problem was but it's almost as if he wanted to show Taylor he was over her, as if she broke up with him! I seriously wanted to punch him, and I'm sure I'm not the only one.

AND THEN there was that poor man who had a stroke a couple years ago. It was sad seeing him stumble over words. At the end it seemed like he repeated what he said a few minutes earlier and they cut him off. He has plenty of supporters though I'm sure; his wife being one of them. That made me think of getting old though. His parents, aunts, uncles, grandparents, maybe siblings, are most definitely dead. Same for his wife's family. To me, the thought of being single forever is really scary because you have to handle all the mourning by yourself.

Anyway overall it was a good show. I don't really remember last year's, so I bet this one was better.
